Korean food and wine? Why Not?! Join us at New York Vintners as our culinary team prepares an assortment of traditional and our spin on Korean BBQ dishes. Our Sommeliers will pair each delicious course with the perfect wines. We will explore the tangy & spicy flavors of this Korean favorite and learn what components in wine work well with not only this cuisine but other favorites as well.
The Sommelier selected some interesting wines and provided lots of information about how to pair wine and food. The sandwiches were delicious! In addition to learning about how food and wine complement each other my friend and I had a great time!
Hillary was so great! She described the various red and white wines we tasted and informed us about the various grapes’ journey from the various regions of France or Italy. As well, we learned about the feel of wine on the tongue, either tannic or sweet or citrus-y. She answered questions and described wine pairings and why certain wines pair better than others with either fatty or savory foods. She was terrific!
Quality wine educators, intimate setting, lovely selection of wines, incredibly helpful information! My 3rd time here and it’s always a pleasure.
