08/05 Wine 101: Discovering Your Palate (1PM)(C), Blind Tasting: The Good, Bad & Ugly (4PM)(ADV), The Kings of Cabernet (7PM)(ADV)

One of the most important wine classes you will ever take. This class focuses on the appearance, aroma and palate of various wines and will train you how to understand what's in your glass and most importantly teach you how to describe what you like and dislike so you can develop a better understanding of your personal taste in wine. In addition we will discuss wine and food pairings, upon   completion of this course you will be more comfortable ordering a bottle of wine that fits the profile that you desire.

Class Time: 1.5 to 2 hours
Number of Wines: 1 Sparkling, 3 Whites, 3 Reds
Food Served: Light Antipasto
We Recommend that you enjoy a full meal before attending a wine tasting

With its focus on the sensory analysis and identification of the positive and negative characteristics in wine, blind tasting develops and expands your individual wine preferences. This class will encourage you to enjoy wine without being caught up in the expectations of a producer, price, or reputation and delve into the characteristics of the common grape varieties.

Learn how to distinguish quality in a glass, pick up a technique or two used by wine professionals and detect components that can separate great wines from the rest.  It's what everyone wants to know how to do....

One of our most popular classes!  Join us as we lead you through a selection of our favorite red wines from all over the world.  Taste boutique small production wines, library releases and other unique bottlings that we feel are truly "Bad Ass". One of the many perks of our job is tasting numerous wines and rare varietals made by world class producers and sharing these finds with our customers.
