Krug is as much a luxury brand as it is a champagne house, and as a reflection of this, they produce what is essentially a collection of prestige cuvées.

The Krug style could be described as one of great richness, but also of great complexity and finesse. There is a particular combination of creaminess, breadth, depth, nuance and refinement in a Krug champagne that is immediately recognizable, no matter what the cuvée, and at their best, these wines can provide some of the most thrilling experiences in Champagne. The philosophy of the house is perhaps best expressed in the Grande Cuvée, Krug’s “multi-vintage” blend (do not let them hear you utter the words “non-vintage” in their presence).
