Massolino

Based in Serralunga d'Alba, the Massolino family have been producing wine since the 1890's. Today Giuseppe Massolino, who was one of the founders of the Consorzio Barolo e Barbaresco, oversees his sons Giovanni and Renato in the vineyards, while Giovanni's son Franco is the winemaker. The Massolino straddle the line between modern and traditional Barolo, as some wines see barrique ageing. Their Vigna Rionda Reserva in one of Piedmont's most coveted Barolo wines.
