Fontezoppa is located between the towns of Serrapetrona and San Severino, considered to be one of the best spots to grow grapes in the Marche region. The owner/wine maker Giovanni Basso, after 20 years of experience as a grower, always produces wines of traditional character that respect the territory. The 25 year old vines grow between 500-600 meters above sea level, very close to the Adriatic Sea, in an area that benefits from the cool sea breeze.
