This small Gevrey-Chambertin domaine is now led by Denis Bachelet who took over his family's domaine in 1983 while only in his early twenties. The perfectionist Bachelet insists on low yields, total destemming, and only small percentages of new oak. All of his wines are kept on the lees as long as possible and bottles without filtration. Intensity, elegance and femininity are Bachelet's trademarks.
