The Carillon family have been in the village since 1632. Francois, grandson of Louis, is in charge of winemaking with his brother Jacques in the vineyard. Fancois prefers the use of 20% new oak for his top wines. With 11 total hectares under vine, including prestigious plots in Bienvenues-Batard-Montrachet, Domaine Louis Carillon is one of the leading domaines of Puligny-Montrachet.
