Chateau de Fonsalette
The history of the Reynaud family in Chateauneuf-du-Pape dates all the way to the 1880s. Along with the family's renowned Chateau Rayas, in 1945 the late Bernard purchased Chateau Fonsalette located in Lagarde-Paréol. After the death of Louis his youngest son Jacques inherited the two estates and was the owner of Rayas and Fonsalette from 1978 until he suddenly died in 1997. Fonsalette has 10 hectares planted with vines. The wines of Rayas and Fonsalette are vinified in the cellars of Rayas.
