With holdings on either side of the Italian-Slovenian border, the Movia estate has been in the Kristancic family since 1820. The vines are densely planted and all harvest is done by hand in order to select only the best quality bunches. Currently in charge is Ales Kristancic who tends his vines and crafts his wines following biodynamic practices. The cellar is equipped with the latest technology, and intervention is kept to a minimum.
