The Chambers winery has been owned by the same family since its establishment in 1858. Bill Chambers, the current Chief Winemaker, has over 100 years of blending material available, that are used to add complexity and depth to their wines. The raisined grapes are then picked, crushed and partially fermented before being fortified and then subjected to a wood aging program loosely resembling a solera system that lasts (in same cases) for over 100 years.
