Domaine de la Solitude is owned by one of the oldest families originating from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Martin family, dating as far back as the 15th century. The domaine has over 40 hectares under vine, with their Chateauneuf-du-Pape vines averaging 45 years in age. Grapes for the Cuvée Barberini come from a selection of the best parcels of the domaine.
