Item WH350
Chardonnay: Allen Meadows, Burghound 90-93 "The wood influence is a bit more obvious here as there are notes of wood spice, toast and vanilla yet it doesn't detract from the green apple-infused nose that exudes minerality that continues onto the textured, concentrated and bone dry flavors that possess flat out terrific length. Much like the Clos du Cromin, this is an old-style Corton-Charlemagne with almost forbidding austerity that will require an extended slumber in a cool cellar but it should reward the patient."
