Gaja

One of the most famous names in the world of wine, Angelo Gaja is a fourth generation winemaker from Piedmont. His contributions and innovations to the world of fine-wine making are immense. He is known for producing both elegant and opulent wines, and was one of the first to plant Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in the Langhe hills. The Gaja Winery spans over 100 hectares of vineyards in the Barbaresco and Barolo districts. Angelo Gaja adds a touch of Barbera to his single-vineyard Nebbiolo wines to soften their typical harshness.
