Domaine Jean-Louis Chave is, without question, one of France’s finest wine estates. It has been
passed down in uninterrupted succession from father to son since 1481. The Chaves produce benchmark Hermitage from their 14.5 hectares of vines in 9 of the 19 climats of the hill, holdings acquired during the 19th and 20th centuries. Jean-Louis has also created a successful negociant operation working closely with trusted growers to produce high quality/value wines from traditional appellations in the Rhone.
