Hands-On Cooking Lessons!


New York Vintners is ecstatic to introduce new executive chef Ryan Smith and announce their new personal cooking class series. OK, yes, it's early in the day but bugger out of work early and we promise it will be the best experience in Manhattan.

Classes are limited to 6 to 12 people and will be conducted in our Sub-Zero/Wolf kitchen at the chef's table with Chef Ryan Smith and a Sommelier. Attendees will receive hands-on personal instruction and also opportunity to roll up your sleeves and get dirty!

Upcoming Classes Include:

Spanish Cuisine & Wine – Learn the secrets to flavorful and easy small plates which can easily be prepared in any Manhattan kitchen.

Artisanal Flatbreads – Channel your inner Picasso and learn to mix and match gourmet ingredients to create the perfect homemade flatbread.

Making Mozzarella & Fondue – Yup from scratch. Soup to nuts. Bet you didn’t realize how easy it is.

Fresh Italian Pasta & Wine - Build up those forearms and come out looking like a ghost. Mix, roll, form and cook your own pasta and delve into the world of sauce making.

Seafood & Wine
Chef Ryan Smith will unravel the mysteries of how to properly prepare fresh seafood & shellfish and also show you wines-both red and white-that pair perfectly.  

All Classes include lessons on food preparation, wine tasting and food pairing tips.

Class Time: 1.5 to 2 hours
Number of Wines: 1 Sparkling, 1 Whites, 2 Reds 
Dietary Restrictions & Food Allergies: Chef may provide light antipasto upon request.
