One of the most important wine classes you will ever take. This class focuses on the appearance, aroma and palate of various wines and will train you how to understand what's in your glass and most importantly teach you how to describe what you like and dislike so you can develop a better understanding of your personal taste in wine. In addition we will discuss wine and food pairings Upon   Completion of this course you will be more comfortable ordering a bottle of wine that fits the
profile that you desire.

Bubblicious: The World of Sparkling Wines

Sparkling wines have a place at any event and pair well with many foods, contrary to being reserved for special occasions. Discover the three production methods for sparkling wines from around the world and how flavor is affected, and what and why you can expect from a higher quality producer. Sample Champagne from France, Lambrusco and Prosecco from Italy, and even a sparkling from Japan and discover some unique food pairings for these effervescent wines.

One of our most popular classes!  Join us as we lead you through a selection of our favorite red wines from all over the world.  Taste boutique small production wines, library releases and other unique bottlings that we feel are truly "Bad Ass". Wines of the Southern Hemisphere 

From Tierra del Fuego to the dusty outback of Australia, the Southern Hemisphere is producing some very well respected, new-age style wines. Join New York Vintners as we explore the depth and complexity of some of the area’s best producers, tasting wines ranging from Torrontes to Pinotage. We will discuss the unique growing conditions found in the Southern Hemisphere, how the non-native grape made its way south, and a few advantages the Southern Hemisphere enjoys.

Tour de France

The perfect experience for anyone interested in developing their appreciation and knowledge of French wines. Discovering the world of French wines can be intimidating and costly.  Join us as we taste through the major growing regions of Burgundy, Bordeaux, Rhone, Alsace and others.  After this class you will have solid understanding of French wines and what makes them so unique.
